As a champion for collaboration, efficiency and execution, the Manager, Marketing Cloud Automation will drive the development of our email marketing channel, advancing our execution of integrated marketing techniques and marketing automation. You will create a more frictionless, predictable model for generating and executing email campaigns, while maximizing the use of technology to simplify and scale the daily processes of Geco’s digital marketing teams.
You will be the creator of change, rather than merely participating in it. You will work in both a hands-on and strategic capacity, not only developing our email program, but supporting the execution of it as well. You will guide your peers in Demand Generation through the development of a variety of promotion strategies, while proving your impact through detailed metrics. You must be curious about not just how your team works, but how other teams work together and your place in the bigger picture. You must be willing to take calculated risks, and put in the time to demonstrate yourself as a leader among your peers.
Be the in-house expert and champion of our Marketing Automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) in order to engage, convert, and increase the value of prospects and customers across the customer lifecycle.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other Marketing teams (Demand Generation, Brand & Campaign Marketing, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing…) and other organizations within Geco (Product, Go-to-Market,…) to deliver compelling, personalized engagement journeys to our prospects, customers and partners.
Execute on the Marketing Automation calendar, reflecting the requirements and SLAS of the Marketing Campaign/Experience owners and coordinating / synchronizing various campaigns.
Track the performance of promotions campaigns, and initiate feedback conversations with Marketing Campaign/Experience owners and with teams of Sales Development Representatives to drive continuous improvement.
Set KPls for the database email channel and work relentlessly to achieve and exceed those targets.
Who you are
6+ years experience developing lifecycle/ABM/nurture programs, with a focus on marketing automation/operations.
5+ years managing an automation instance (Marketing Cloud) and related system integrations.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expert or similar certification is required, SFDC Admin and PMP certifications a plus.
Experience in customer segmentation strategies and subscriber management across multiple channels.
Demonstrated experience implementing and managing GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM readiness.
Knowledge of industry best practices for marketing automation and the ability/desire to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
